MSC Technologies presents Mini-ITX motherboard and SBC with actual Intel Atom processor technology from IBASE

MSC Technologies, a company of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), has expanded its product portfolio with the industrial MI811 Mini-ITX motherboard and the IB811 single board computer (SBC) from IBASE. Both new products are based on the actual Intel® Atom™ processor series (codenamed “Apollo Lake”). The MI811 Min-ITX motherboard integrates the powerful quad-core Intel® 2.5 GHz Pentium® N4200 processor or dual-core Intel® 2.4 GHz Celeron® N3350 with Intel® Gen9 Ultra HD Graphics. The versatile motherboard has two SO-DIMM sockets to support fast DDR3L-1866 SDRAM memory modules with a total capacity of 8 GB.  Measuring 170 mm by 170 mm, the industrial motherboard offers three graphics interfaces including HDMI, second HDMI or DVI-D, and embedded DisplayPort (eDP) or 24-bit dual-channel LVDS for the connection of three displays. Onboard, two Gbit LAN interfaces, four COM ports, 4 x USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 each, and two SATA III interfaces are available. The board has a PCI Express™ x1 connector, a Mini PCI Express™ slot for expansion cards, and a mSATA socket for embedded Flash memories.

The Mini-ITX motherboard is designed to accept a wide-range of DC power input from 12 V to 24 V, making it suitable for use in POS, kiosk, digital signage and industrial automation applications. The specified operating temperature range is between 0°C to 60 °C.

IBASE‘s compact IB811 3.5-inch disk-size single board computer (SBC) features 9 V – 36 V wide-voltage input that makes it suitable for rugged industrial and in-vehicle applications with varying voltage input requirements. A wide-range operating temperature of -40 °C to +85 °C is supported.

The robust SBC is populated with either the Intel® Atom™ processors x7-E3950 with 2.0 GHz or x5-E3930 with 1.8 GHz. Furthermore there are variants with Intel® Pentium® N4200 or Intel® Celeron® N3350. The board has two memory sockets supporting up to 8 GB of fast DDR3L-1866/1600 SO-DIMM modules.
