Münster, 01.12.2017 (PresseBox) - Cloud computing is currently the technological answer to the many calls for agile IT environments in times of digitalization. However, the market is constantly changing and not a few cloud projects fail due to lack of preparation. The demand for a cloud strategy, which integrates itself thoughtfully and seamlessly into the IT sourcing strategy as well as secure procedural models, is growing. Together with Microsoft and CAST, the market leader for software analysis and measurement, noventum consulting GmbH has developed a solution for these requirements. The professional partnership between the three companies culminates in a workshop offering for companies that want to test their way into the cloud.
Typical questions that are asked again and again in connection with cloud projects are the structured and proven approach, the integration of cloud activities into one's own IT sourcing strategy and the basic technical requirements that must be fulfilled for a cloud migration. The cloud readiness of your own IT architecture and software is often the central starting point for changes in the direction of the cloud.
Many companies want to take advantage of the cloud's benefits and reduce costs through simple scalability. However, they are often not sufficiently informed and overwhelmed by the complex challenges of a cloud move. For companies wishing to enter the cloud, noventum, together with Microsoft and CAST, has developed a 5-day workshop to enable IT experts and decision-makers to find a secure way for their companies and to keep the threads in their own hands.
Together with their customers, the three partners develop Cloud Boarding strategies that are individually tailored to companies. In the workshop, for example, individual applications will be moved to the cloud. How a cloud infrastructure has to be set up and which requirements have to be taken into account is just as much a part of the workshop as security aspects and the method of migrating applications safely. The seminar participants gain insight into the cloud readiness of individual applications and acquire a replicable method for transferring further applications into a hybrid environment without any loss of data. “Hands on" participants are given an insight into Microsoft Azure, a presentation of the results and recommendations for their journey to the cloud.
