Köln, 18.09.2014 (PresseBox) - TÜV Rheinland has optimized its online offering for mobile devices: At www.tuv.com, interested parties can now find all information from the world of the independent global testing service provider for quality and safety presented and programmed in a user-friendly manner, even if they access the pages from smartphones. With its website optimized for mobile, TÜV Rheinland offers a much better service. The design shows all information about the services at a glance, even on smartphones’ relatively small screens, and is easy to use. The mobile TÜV Rheinland website is of course available in all the same languages as the desktop website.
The reason for the enhancement of TÜV Rheinland’s online offering is the change in user behavior. “More and more visitors are accessing our website with their smartphones. Compared to last year, the number of mobile surfers on our German site has doubled,” said Dr. Thomas Barthel, who is responsible for TÜV Rheinland’s web presence as Head of Marketing and Sales. Google, for example, expects half of all searches to be made from mobile devices by the end of this year.
With our presence optimized for mobile, users can now learn about all TÜV Rheinland services conveniently on the go. Dr. Barthel: “While on the move, I can quickly search for the closest test center or find out about tested products online. Now it’s easy for everyone in the supermarket aisle to check what we have tested a product for and what not.” The mobile certificate search gives access to product tests and all TÜV Rheinland certificates at one click.
