BITZER SOFTWARE 7.2.0: Expanded product portfolio and integrated AI agent HERMANN
Sindelfingen, 05.11.2026 (PresseBox) - With version 7.2.0, BITZER has significantly expanded the scope of its proven selection software. More than 1000 additional products from 12 series are now available in the BITZER SOFTWARE. At the same time, the new AI agent HERMANN makes technical knowledge even easier to access within the software: HERMANN answers questions about products, refrigerants and applications, guides users to relevant technical information and documents – and can use the BITZER SOFTWARE to select suitable products.
For more than 35 years, the free BITZER selection software has supported professionals in selecting and sizing compressors and other components for refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump applications. It provides performance data, technical data, application limits, dimensional drawings and comprehensive documentation, among other information, and supports the sizing of both individual compressors and compound systems. The BITZER SOFTWARE is available as a web and Windows application.
BITZER SOFTWARE 7.2.0 with an expanded product portfolio
With version 7.2.0, the product portfolio available in BITZER SOFTWARE has been significantly expanded. The SmarTube module now includes shell-and-tube condensers and evaporators with more than 1,100 catalogue model designations.
Version 7.2.0 also introduces the selection of water-cooled condensing units from the K series, without the need to select the condenser and compressor separately. With 178 units in six variants, including ECOLINE PRO as well as seawater-resistant and two-stage versions, all combinations are available.
AI agent HERMANN: Find technical information and select BITZER products
HERMANN, the new AI agent integrated into the BITZER SOFTWARE, makes it even easier to access technical knowledge and the BITZER product world. Users can ask questions about BITZER products, refrigerants and applications, and HERMANN guides them directly to relevant technical information and documents. In addition, HERMANN can access the BITZER SOFTWARE and independently select suitable BITZER products. This enables users to find the information they need even more quickly.

The BITZER SOFTWARE was fundamentally revised with version 7 and optimised for use on different devices. Its responsive design automatically adapts the display to PCs, tablets and smartphones.
