RAMPF Marks New Chapter in China with Opening of Tianjin Facility

Expanded production and application engineering capabilities for polyurethane, silicone, and epoxy systems in sealing, potting, bonding, and tooling

Grafenberg, 30.10.2026 (PresseBox) - The international RAMPF Group has officially opened its new production facility in Tianjin, China. The €8 million (RMB 60 million) investment expands local production capacity, bringing high-performance resin systems and comprehensive application engineering support closer to customers.

The Tianjin facility develops and manufactures reactive resin systems based on polyurethane, silicone, and epoxy. These materials are used in sealing, potting, bonding, and tooling applications across industries including automotive, electric mobility, aerospace, electrical and electronics, household appliances, and packaging.

The 23,500-square-meter facility combines production and office space with a warehouse, a laboratory, and an application engineering center. RAMPF’s integrated setup supports customers every step of the way, from custom material development and testing to full-scale production.

Located in the Chemical Industrial Park of the Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Area (TEDA), the site is part of a future-focused industrial environment that brings together leading Chinese and international chemical companies.

Tiger Meng, CEO of RAMPF China:

“RAMPF’s investment in Tianjin reflects our commitment to serving customers locally with tailored solutions and application know-how. We see significant potential across a range of applications, including silicone-based systems for the automotive sector. The expertise and dedication of our Tianjin team have enabled us to get operations off to a strong start and deliver the quality, reliability, and responsiveness our customers expect. Looking ahead, we are exploring further investments, including in polyurethane recycling, to meet our partners’ evolving needs and priorities.”

Michael Rampf, CEO of the international RAMPF Group:

“Delivering a project of this technical and logistical complexity within such a short timeframe required a remarkable team effort and close collaboration between our colleagues in China and Germany. By leveraging the strengths and synergies across our global organization, we create greater value for customers wherever they operate. We are especially grateful to Ma Jianjun, Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of TEDA, for his valuable support, and we were delighted to welcome him to the opening celebration.”
