With its 2025 Sustainability Report, the CRONIMET Group documents its progress and provides an outlook on the next steps in the areas of sustainability and climate protection. The report is published proactively and creates transparency for all stakeholders.
The CRONIMET Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report (download report), thereby underscoring its commitment to sustainable and forward-looking corporate governance. The report is aimed at all stakeholders – from customers and suppliers to employees and investors – and provides transparency regarding the company’s environmental and social impacts. It was prepared in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and includes a dual materiality analysis, the company’s strategy, and both implemented and planned measures.
Although the CRONIMET Group is not yet legally required to report on sustainability for the 2025 reporting year, the company has already implemented an established and continuously refined sustainability management system. This system is firmly anchored in the 2030 corporate strategy and forms the foundation for the sustainable orientation of all business units.
Annette Gartner, CIO/CHRO of the CRONIMET Group, emphasizes: “With the 2025 Sustainability Report, we demonstrate that we are not merely responding to regulatory requirements, but view sustainability as a strategic tool for the further development of our company. Integrating sustainability management into our corporate strategy is an important step toward operating successfully and responsibly in the long term.”
Progress in Climate Protection and the Electrification of Business Processes
A central theme of the report is climate protection. In 2025, the CRONIMET Group continued to advance the electrification of its fleet and machinery. In addition, additional sites were converted to non-fossil fuel power sources. Since 2021, Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reduced by 27 percent.
Jürgen Pilarsky, CEO of the CRONIMET Group, explains: “We are convinced that investments in climate protection and innovation form the basis for our future viability. The electrification of our processes is an essential component of our Climate Action Plan and underscores our goal of sustainably reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We invite all our stakeholders to join us on this journey.”
