Versatile compressed air powerhouse in the 2 m³ class
Mobilair M27 portable compressor with PE enclosure and generator
Coburg, 04.05.2026 (PresseBox) - Convenient, lightweight, powerful and efficient: These are just some of the key advantages of the Mobilair M27 portable compressor from Kaeser Kompressoren. The latest variant equipped with optional generator provides the best of two worlds: it can simultaneously provide the compressed air needed to power a large breaker plus a 6.5 kVA supply of electricity. In addition to the towable chassis, a stationary version is also available for specialised applications, which can be easily installed on the cargo bed of a truck, for example.
A true powerhouse hides beneath the Mobilair M27’s scratch- and corrosion- resistant roto-moulded polyethylene (PE) sound enclosure: The rotary screw airend with energy-saving Sigma Profile rotors is designed for continuous operation and is driven by a powerful, water-cooled Kubota diesel engine. Consequently, the Mobilair M27 provides a free air delivery of 1.75 m³/min at 7 bar, which makes it the ideal choice for powering a 28 kg breaker, or other tools such as air lances, spades, impact borers and sandblasting equipment. Moreover, the machine can be equipped with integrated compressed air treatment components, such as an aftercooler and filter combination, and can even supply technically oil-free compressed air for sewer rehabilitation applications. The separated condensate is evaporated harmlessly into the atmosphere.
A power rating of 18.2 kW and Emissions Stage V mean that the M27 is perfectly suited for use in low emission zones, since equipment in this performance class does not require a particle filter.
There are no worries when it comes to those cold morning starts either: Fitted as standard, Kaeser’s Anti-Frost Control protects air tools from potential damage caused by freezing and corrosion. In addition, the wide-opening soundproof enclosure allows quick and easy access to all maintenance points. Another useful option is the hose reel which comes with a 20 m lightweight hose, as this enables the compressed air line to be safely stowed away.
