Mikrop AG Appoints Chris Jung as New CTO – Wolfgang Braxmaier to Focus on Sales
Wittenbach, 11.07.2025 (PresseBox) - Mikrop AG announces a leadership change in its technology division: Chris Jung has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) as of July 1, 2025. He succeeds Wolfgang Braxmaier, who led the company for many years with great commitment to technological issues.
Chris Jung has been with Mikrop for seven years, working as an optical designer, product developer, and team leader. “Chris brings a strong combination of technical depth and strategic thinking,” says CEO Markus Bormann. “He knows our company inside out and is well-equipped to lead our technology forward.”
Wolfgang Braxmaier served as CTO for many years, playing a crucial role in the company’s development. He will now leverage his expertise in a more customer-facing role in sales.
With this internal transition, Mikrop ensures continuity in leadership and a stronger focus on both innovation and customer engagement.
