End-to-end encryption (E2EE) protects all documents and data against unauthorized access.
All files are encrypted automatically even before they are uploaded to the netfiles Data Vault. They are only decrypted again on the recipient's device. As a result, unauthorized third parties neither have access to content stored in the virtual safe, nor can they decrypt it. The same goes for netfiles employees, in keeping with what is known as the 'zero-knowledge' principle.
