Spirit of Speed belongs to the second kind. This is a personal invitation to join us in the Arctic – not for a show, but for an experience that strips everything back to the essentials: man, machine, and ice.

High in Finnish Lapland lies our 3 km² driving complex, carved into a frozen iron-ore mine and designed by Jan Kalmar and his team to test one thing only – control.

25 kilometers of stages that shift between open ice, forest trails, and fast technical sections. Every corner has a purpose. Every moment teaches precision.

“We don’t build tracks to impress drivers,” Jan says.
“We build tracks to transform them.”

The Experience

You’ll drive Kalmar Automotive–prepared cars — light, balanced, and pure.
No electronics, no filters — just feedback.

Each vehicle runs on 7 mm WRC-spec studded tires with 384 tungsten studs
per tire, engineered to deliver traction that defies the surface.

With a maximum of five cars on track and one instructor per driver, the focus is absolute.

No waiting, no repetition – just steady progression,
one corner at a time, until instinct takes over.

A mix of adrenaline and power that you will never experience again…

Between the Sessions

After the driving ends, the silence continues.
You’ll return to Kide Lodges – a modern Nordic retreat near the track.
Warm light, clean design, and quiet space for reflection.

Another out-of-this-world experience.
