ISO-Gruppe companies support UN Global Compact
Nürnberg, 05.05.2021 (PresseBox) - ISO Software Systeme and ISO Public Services began supporting the UN Global Compact initiative last fall. Now, the remaining ISO-Gruppe companies, ISO Professional Services, ISO Travel Solutions and ISO Recruiting Consultants, have also joined the world's most important initiative for responsible corporate governance.
As previously announced when the first two ISO-Gruppe companies joined, ISO Professional Services, ISO Travel Solutions and ISO Recruiting Consultants are now also supporting the UN Global Compact. The alliance between companies from all over the world and the United Nations organization is based on ten universal principles, topics such as human rights, labor standards, the environment and corruption prevention. The basis of the United Nations initiative is the 2030 Agenda, in which the 193 member states of the UN commit themselves to jointly solving the global challenges for sustainable development.
In total, more than 15,000 companies and organizations from the areas of corporate citizenship, politics and science in more than 160 countries operate in accordance with the requirements of the UN Global Compact.
"It was important for us that all companies in the ISO-Gruppe, without exception, join the UN Global Compact. As a family-run group of companies, we are aware of our social obligation. By joining the UN Global Compact, we want to underline our commitment to fair business practices towards employees, partners and customers," Moritz Goeb, Managing Director of ISO Travel Solutions stated.

The ISO Public Services’ portfolio includes software engineering, project management, operational support and testing. The ISO-Gruppe has provided these services to the public sector for many years. ISO relies on the ISO-Konsortium, founded in 2019, when major projects arise. The consortium is a network of medium-sized partner companies from the IT sector, headed by ISO Public Services.
