Intuitive and with exciting features: dresden elektronik presents the new "Phoscon App" under the Phoscon brand
Dresden, 26.04.2018 (PresseBox) - One of the core ideas of the ZigBee standard is the interoperability of devices and components of all manufacturers that offer products according to the guidelines of this standard. dresden elektronik is the only manufacturer that realizes this idea with the Phoscon Gateway and the Phoscon App with all consequence. So it does not matter if the products comply with the special ZigBee Light Link Profile (ZLL) (such as demanded by competitor Philips) or the broader Profile Home Automation (ZHA). Of course, there is also compatibility with the new ZigBee standard 3.0. The advantage for customers lies in the great flexibility of being able to select luminaires, ballasts, actuators, sensors and wireless switches according to their specific needs and to control them in a network.

Under the Phoscon brand, the company is now releasing a new control app - the "Phoscon App".
An intuitive user interface - that's one of the peculiarities that comes with the new app. An appealing interface and self-explanatory procedures as well as well-comprehensible step-by-step instructions are crucial. The experience gained in recent years in dealing with the application of the first generation has made a strong impact on the modernized design.
The Phoscon App is based on modern weaving technology. This results in an advantage in the independence of terminal and operating systems. Only a current web browser has required the customers themselves decide which system they want to use. Of course, after the first installation, the app can also be used offline without internet access.
In conjunction with the new and attractive Phoscon Gateway, the app ensures a professional management of light installations with up to 200 devices and is therefore not only suitable for use in private homes but also useful within the control of office buildings or industrial halls. Here the individual lighting profiles are particularly advantageous.
Accordingly, both the private and the business customers will be given the greatest flexibility in the subject of ZigBee lighting control with the intuitive app. The self-sufficient lighting control is rounded by the extensive integration of switches and daylight and motion sensors from well-known third-party manufacturers such as IKEA, JUNG, GIRA, Busch-Jaeger, and Philips.
The Phoscon app from dresden elektronik enables harmonic and app-based lighting control for everyone. Private end customers discover intuitive operation and important installation support - business customers can integrate their own corporate design and receive additional professional features that are necessary for various applications. The Phoscon App is based on the responsive design and can, therefore, be operated via tablet or smartphone.
