D11Z portfolio company CERPRO becomes Drevise
The AI platform helps industrial companies turn technical product definitions into faster and more reliable approvals for series production
Heilbronn/Berlin, 07.10.2026 (PresseBox) - D11Z portfolio company CERPRO will operate under the name Drevise going forward. With its new brand identity, the Berlin-based software company, founded in 2023, is sharpening its positioning and broadening its technological ambition. Drevise helps industrial companies translate technical product definitions from drawings, 3D models, specifications and revisions into reliable decisions on feasibility, quality planning, supplier coordination and production approval at an early stage.
The objective is to bring new or modified products into series production faster, more transparently and with greater certainty. From D11Z's perspective, the repositioning reflects the company's development from a specialised solution for automated inspection planning into a comprehensive AI platform for industrial approval processes.
From inspection planning to series production approval
CERPRO started with QualiSpec in quality assurance, enabling companies to derive inspection plans automatically from technical drawings and inspect components more efficiently.
Drevise significantly expands this approach. The platform interprets technical requirements from drawings, 3D models, specifications and revisions, identifies ambiguities and risks at an early stage, and translates them into concrete recommendations for engineering, supplier coordination, production planning, quality planning and approval.
The new name combines the words Drawing and Revision. It expresses the idea that technical drawings and changes should not merely be documented, but used as the basis for faster and more reliable manufacturing decisions. The new website also reflects this broader positioning.
A shared technical foundation for industrial processes
In many industrial companies, technical requirements must be reinterpreted repeatedly throughout the product development process. Engineering defines what is to be manufactured. Supplier quality derives the required evidence. Production planning translates the requirements into processes, machines and work plans. Quality assurance ultimately verifies whether the result meets the specifications.
When these steps are not connected by a shared technical foundation, questions, rework and delays arise - often precisely when components are due to be approved for series production.
Drevise therefore starts with the technical product definition itself. The platform analyses drawings and 3D models, identifies missing or contradictory information, assesses feasibility, measurability and risks, and derives recommendations for subsequent process steps. Manufacturers, suppliers and internal specialist departments can therefore work from a shared information base.
Leading industrial companies including Bosch Rexroth, Lixil, Innomotics and Hörmann already use the solution.
Development since the pre seed financing round
Since its EUR 2 million pre-seed financing round in November 2025, the company has grown from three founders to a team of 15. According to the company, more than 200 companies in nine countries now use the technology in production.
CERPRO's evolution into Drevise demonstrates how consistently the team is aligning its technology with the core challenges faced by industrial companies. The shared analysis of technical product information offers significant potential to simplify coordination, identify risks earlier and substantially accelerate industrial approval processes.

Customer perspective
Drevise connects our quality assurance team and our suppliers in a seamless digital process. Our aim is to reduce manual work and coordination loops and complete initial sample inspections more quickly.
Günther Casper, Vice President Quality at d&b audiotechnik
CERPRO was the right name for our start in automated inspection planning. Today, we are solving a broader problem: technical requirements must not only be documented, but translated into reliable decisions across departments and companies. Drevise represents our ambition to help companies achieve approval for series production faster and with greater certainty.
