Monheim, Germany, 24.06.2026 (PresseBox) - Brazil is considered a driving force for sustainable industrial transformation. Solutions provider Eplan has now acquired its long-standing distributor, Eplan Brasil. The agreement was signed on 1 June 2026 and the organisation’s around 50 employees, based in São Paulo and Joinville, is focusing on expansion under Eplan’s direct management. Ambitious goals have been set: Brazil is to be developed to become an innovation hub to gain further market share both there as well as in Chile, Peru and Colombia. Simultaneously, activities on the North and South American markets are to be more tightly networked and coordinated.

“For almost thirty years, our distributor Eplan Brasil has demonstrated exactly the drive for expansion and determination that have made the company one of our top players in global sales and service,” says Eplan CEO Sebastian Seitz. “I would like to extend special thanks to Rinaldo Baldini, who has led the team to this success over all these years.” The unusually young and motivated team of more than fifty employees has continued to expand dynamically. Eplan Vice President North & South America Michael Jeschke added, “We’re looking forward to further expanding Brazil’s role as an innovation hub in South America as part of the Friedhelm Loh Group.”

Focus on long-term outlooks

For a long time, Brazil was one of the few markets in Eplan’s global business that was developed with a sales partner. Eplan Brasil was founded by Rinaldo Baldini in 1997 and became the most important branch in South America over the years. Baldini is now going into his well-deserved retirement and handed over the reins of the thriving company at the start of June. The team stands out for its innovative spirit and enthusiasm, and can be considered anything but ordinary: the average age amongst the employees is under 30 and women make up over 50 per cent of the workforce. The company’s sites in São Paolo and Joinville are already amongst the most advanced and high-performing locations in South America.

The Brazilian engineering experts cover all phases of Eplan’s business, from software sales and implementation to training, consulting and renewal management. The variety of Eplan’s service portfolio is only matched by the wide-ranging customer base, from agriculture and the rapidly growing energy sector to the automotive and food industries.

Leveraging synergies with Rittal

Rittal, an Eplan affiliate, has been active on the Brazilian market for many years and operates its own production facility in São Paolo. As is the case around the globe, the Rittal and Eplan teams work together intensively to assist mutual customers in realising the highest possible level of automation in engineering and manufacturing through the targeted combination of software and hardware solutions.

“We have ambitious goals to further drive our growth by increasing the networking between our sites in the Americas,” Jeschke says. He is confident: “Brazil will play a significant role on the world market as a driver of innovation – especially in the fields of sustainable energy and agriculture.”
