BluTest Laboratories Expands Accredited Bacteriology Testing Services into Medical and Veterinary Sectors
The laboratory has added four new European standards to its accredited scope
Berlin, 28.05.2026 (PresseBox) - BluTest Laboratories – A Tentamus Company, a UKAS accredited laboratory (No. 4597), is pleased to announce the expansion of its bacteriology department to include specialist suspension standard testing for both the medical and veterinary sectors.
Building on its established capabilities in general-purpose efficacy testing, including EN 1276 and EN 1650, BluTest Laboratories now offers accredited testing to the following additional European standards:
Veterinary Sector
EN 1656 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of veterinary disinfectants and antiseptics
EN 1657 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of fungicidal or yeasticidal activity of veterinary disinfectants and antiseptics
Medical Sector
EN 13727 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity in the medical area
EN 13624 – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of fungicidal or yeasticidal activity in the medical area
