The composition of the aluminium determines the hardness of the material. The harder the aluminium, the fewer chips are produced during machining with a CNC machine and the easier the machining process is.
The composition of the aluminium and the core material also plays a key role in drilling, milling and cutting. The harder the aluminium, the more precise and the cleaner the cut edges are and they do not need to be reworked.
The stability of the composite material also influences the time and effort required to bend and edge the material. With ALPOLICTM , even large panel formats can be edged by just one person.

ALPOLIC™ composite panels can also be processed directly on site using standard tools and finished in a variety of ways to add a personalised touch to any project.
