Robust Kögel Box NOVUM dry freight trailer for high payload and secure transport
From 16 to 20 November 2021, Kögel will be presenting highlights from its current product portfolio to interested trade visitors at this year's Solutrans in Lyons, France, such as the Kögel Euro Trailer of the NOVUM generation, Kögel Box – PurFerro Quality, or the backbone of the NOVUM generation trailers, the Kögel NOVUM Trailer Axle. Kögel will also be introducing other attractive services and will be on site with the French After Market Team.
Kögel's trade fair attendance will be fully in keeping with the company motto, ”Economy meets Ecology – Because we care”: economy, sustainability and responsible consumption of natural resources are issues that are not only important to Kögel, but the entire transport and logistics world. The combination of these fundamental values forms the basis for Kögel's modern, business-savvy approach, and is reflected both in the company and its product portfolio.
Kögel BOX Novum – Wide range of applications for weather-sensitive goods
With a tare weight of only 6,800 kilograms in the standard version, the Kögel Box of the NOVUM generation offers an enormous payload. The dry freight box body provides maximum-quality transport and protection against environmental influences. The trailer can also be individually adapted to customer requirements with numerous equipment options. The exhibition variant of the Kögel Box NOVUM – PurFerro Quality features various additional equipment options, such as fully recessed anchor rails, to adapt to different transport requirements. The optional electric roll-up door, which can be conveniently operated via remote control, and the tail lift, which enables loading and unloading without a ramp, ensure considerably easier everyday handling in line with Kögel’s company motto, “Because we care”.
Kögel Euro Trailer NOVUM and Euro Trailer NOVUM Box offer maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Kögel is showing both the new Euro Trailer of the NOVUM generation and the Euro Trailer Box variant with box body at Solutrans. The vehicles combine the strengths of the Euro Trailer concept with the advantages of a box trailer, namely additional loading volume and a proven 10% reduction in CO2 emissions. The dry freight box body provides high-quality transport and protection against environmental influences. The trailer can also be individually adapted to customer requirements with a wide range of equipment options.
Kögel Presents the Kögel NOVUM Trailer Axle
The KTA NOVUM installed in Kögel trailers is the result of outstanding engineering. It combines the highest-quality, premium components in one innovative concept and is durable. Kögel has slimmed down the KTA: lighter brakes, direct clamping of the axle pipe by the wishbones, and two instead of four guide bolts have made it possible to omit certain components and thereby noticeably reduce the overall weight of the bogie, compared with the first generation of the Kögel Trailer Axle. This results in lower fuel consumption, which reduces CO2 emissions in turn. This will come as good news to both our customers’ wallets and the environment.
