UNITI expo 2016: Digital Transformation Captures the Service Station Industry
SAP RFNO software solution attracts great interest from industry experts
Hamburg, 22.06.2016 (PresseBox) - More and more service station operators are intent on digitally transforming their companies – as became evident at UNITI expo 2016. The leading European trade fair for the retail petroleum sector saw service station operators, mineral oil companies, suppliers and service providers come together last week in Stuttgart to share ideas, catch up with recent developments and make new contacts. At the trade fair, international software and consulting company Implico showcased SAP RFNO (Retail Fuel Network Operations), the leading-edge SAP industry solution for today’s and tomorrow’s challenges faced by the service station industry.
The slogan chosen by Implico for its trade fair presence was “Transforming knowledge into value.” The Implico booth attracted many service station operators who want to further automate their processes and improve data transparency. Among them were CEOs, IT directors and managers running service station networks from numerous European countries including Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Poland, Estonia or Russia. The number of visitors from Asia was especially noteworthy as Implico consultants welcomed experts from the Philippines, Thailand, India or Indonesia. Talks at the booth often centered on networking relevant market players such as service station operators, suppliers or freight forwarders.
The SAP RFNO service station solution monitors and controls the entire exchange of data such as, for instance, cash and volume flows, and supports daily lessee settlement, fuel inventory management, replenishment, and payment and fleet card management. The SAP solution also offers a large number of additional features and automation options supporting further development steps toward digital transformation, making SAP RFNO the answer to many needs of the service station industry.
“Compared with the 2014 UNITI expo, this year’s expert audience was even more focused on specific topics and more international,” said Cornelia Juds, SAP Sales Manager at the Implico Group. “The fact that our SAP RFNO solution and our consulting expertise really hit a chord with the industry experts visiting the trade fair made this event a success for us.”
