Saarbruecken, 17.05.2016 (PresseBox) - CETECOM, the premiere wireless test and certification lab, is known for its excellent SmartCard service portfolio. This wide range of services has now been extended as EMVCo issues an additional accreditation for CETECOM.

Already accredited for several EMVCo type approval testing services, CETECOM earned another EMVCo certification, as CETECOM is now able to offer EMVCo Mobile Phase 2 testing to its customers.

This accreditation allows CETECOM to provide type approval testing for the diverse payment schemes:

MasterCard

American Express

Visa

Discover

JCB

Chinese Union Pay

Using this program, all payment schemes can be tested in one-step. The type approval testing results, once approved by EMVCo, are recognized by all payment schemes. Dealing with each payment scheme separately is not necessary anymore.

This new accreditation sharpens CETECOM’s SmartCard service portfolio, which already offers a wide range of SmartCard services to our customers.
