MSC Technologies broadens product portfolio with high quality displays for medical systems

(NYSE: AVT), offers an extended product portfolio of modern displays with and without touch screen for medical devices. The solution provider focuses on leading display manufacturers and touch technologies developed in-house, in order to fulfil the various customers' requirements.
The high-class displays for diagnostic and monitoring systems in the medical technology sector offer high resolution, good contrast and realistic color reproduction. The panel systems meet special requirements with regard to quality to ensure a secure operating and a long lifetime of the medical devices. Other important criteria include long-term availability of all components and delivery reliability that is suitable for the innovation cycles of the medical sector. Any major change made to the device requires a new complex, lengthy approval or certification.
Specifically for medical image systems, MSC Technologies supplies the TX18D200VM0EAA TFT display from KOE Europe with a size of 7 inch (17.8 cm) and Full HD resolution. The panel uses the latest Advanced IPS (in-plane-switching) technology and features 170° vertical and horizontal viewing angles. Excellent optical performance is ensured with a contrast ratio of 800:1 and a brightness specification of 700 cd/m².
The NL12880BC20-05D 12.2 inch (31 cm) wide version TFT display from NLT Technologies offers an excellent optical performance and best EMC parameters. The contrast ratio is 1000:1, the color palette ranges up to 16.7 million colors. The high-grade display is available alternatively in a PCAP version.
For medical devices, MSC Technologies offers the G170J1-LE1 17 inch (43 cm) display with WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) resolution from Innolux. Based on S-MVA technology, the TFT provides high brightness of 600 cd/m² and a wide-angle viewing of 176° in all directions. The LED driver and LVDS interface are pre-installed for an easy integration. Innolux indicates a lifecycle of at least five years for the new G-series displays.
MSC Technologies delivers the P270HVN01.0 with 27.2 inch (69 cm) and the G190EAN01.0 with 18.1 inch (46 cm) full-HD medical displays from AUO. The products are based on AUO's Advanced Hyper-Viewing Angle (AHVA) technology which ensures a high transmittance to increase the image quality and the resolution in parallel with an ultra-wide viewing angle.
