New IDC MarketScape Provides a First-Ever Vendor Assessment of the Worldwide Big Data Consulting and Systems Integration Services Market for 2016

Framingham, Mass., 13.05.2016 (PresseBox) - International Data Corporation (IDC) has published a new vendor assessment profiling a variety of vendors participating in the worldwide Big Data consulting and systems integration services market for 2016. This assessment shows that vendors participating in the study tend to deploy the same strategies for various segments of their business analytics services practices including Big Data services. These strategies span across offerings/capabilities/sales strategies, go-to-market/alliance strategies, business growth/R & D strategies, and employment management strategies.

The study, IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Big Data Consulting and Systems Integration Services 2016 Vendor Assessment (IDC # US41240916), profiled 13 vendors participating in the worldwide Big Data consulting and systems integration market. The vendors assessed were Accenture, Atos, Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte, EY, HCL, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), IBM, Infosys, KPMG, PwC, and TCS. Of the vendors assessed, IDC named Deloitte, EY, HCL and IBM as "Leaders" in the space for 2016.

"This is IDC's first-ever evaluation of the Big Data management consulting and systems integration services, and it will help IT buyers evaluate which service providers to consider," said Ali Zaidi, research director, IT Consulting and Systems Integration Business Strategies at IDC. "Big Data and analytics has become pervasive and is one of the fastest-growing segments of business analytics services when it comes to customer spending. Buyer needs for continuously improving financial performance, for operational efficiency, and to lower cost are the key drivers behind spending growth around Big Data C&SI services."

The study presents a vendor assessment of the 2016 worldwide Big Data consulting and systems integration services market using the IDC MarketScape model. The evaluation is based on a comprehensive and rigorous framework that assesses vendors relative to the criteria and one another and highlights the factors expected to be the most influential for success in the market in both the short term and the long term.
