Karlsruhe, 27.07.2015 (PresseBox) - "The Laser World of Photonics has shown that our technology spectrum for precision positioning is unique", said Dr. Karl Spanner, President of the PI Group. "The immediate approval of the visitors for our products and our trade fair presentation was tremendous", continued Dr. Spanner.

PI demonstrated a large number of products in motion on an exhibition space of more than 200 square meters. The presentation areas were very crowded, especially for the new Q-Motion miniature stage series and the PIMag® magnetic direct drives which attracted a great deal of attention. For the first time in Europe, PI also presented its new product line of positioning systems with air-bearing technology.

Easy-to-use and intuitive touchscreens allowed quick access to even more information on products and technologies.

Norbert Ludwig, managing director marketing and sales, explains enthusiastically, "For more than 40 years, the Laser World of Photonics has been the most important leading trade fair in the field of optical metrology, photonics and laser technology. The high professional quality of the discussions and enquiries has underlined once again the meaning of the trade fair for PI and for the industry".
