Elma presents Red Dot Award winner and new switch products at electronica
Variety of product innovations at the both 274 in hall B1
Pforzheim / Munich, 22.10.2014 (PresseBox) - The new selector switch MR50, the miniature encoder MultiWheel and the German premiere of the Red Dot awarded housing iD-Box 16 are the main issues of Elma Electronic at this-year's electronica in Munich. At booth 274 in Hall B1, Elma furthermore presents vibration-resistant small-form-factor systems as well as the vibration-resistant card retainers "SureLock" with excellent cooling characteristics.
The multifuctional housing iD-Box 16 for high-quality electronic components distinguishes itself not only with its Red Dot awarded design, but also with its flexibility regarding sizes, versions and colours.
With the new MR50, Elma Electronic extends its standard rotary switch product range by an extremely robust, multifunctional rotary switch with smallest dimensions. It will mainly be used in portable devices.
The MultiWheel, likewise being launched at the electronica, is a Hall-sensor based miniature encoder with 9-fold joystick function for one finger operation. The robust operator panel has especially been designed for demanding outdoor- and cockpit applications as well as for industrial control systems. The small rotary knob equipped with hall sensor encoder and magnetic locking system guarantees for high reliability and long product lifetime.
For highest shock- and vibration resistance as well as optimum cooling for demanding systems, Elma extends its range of accessories by the card retainers "SureLock".
And last but not least, Elma presents with the bo!sys-family its current developments in the area of rugged single board computers with small form factor housings. These powerful, fanless computers meet highest demands and can be used outdoor at the same time.
